びっくりしますよね？
Surprising, isn’t it?
ここは埼玉県飯能市にある観音寺。
This is Kannonji Temple in Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture.
アニメ「ヤマノススメ」の聖地です。
It is featured in the anime “Encouragement of Climb”.
こちらの白い象さんは、1965年ごろに檀家から奉納されました。
This white elephant was presented by a Buddhist-parishioner around 1965.
アニメの中によく登場し、絵馬に描かれることもあります。
It often appears in the anime and is sometimes depicted on Ema (votive picture tablet).
そして、一目見るためにたくさんのファンが訪れます。
And many fans visit to catch a glimpse of it.
私もそのファンの一人です！
I am one of those fans!
もともとは、地元の和菓子屋さんが仮装コンクールのために作ったそう。🍡
It was originally made by a local Japanese sweets shop for a costume contest.🍡
今ではお寺のシンボルとして、大切にされています。
Now it is cherished as a symbol of the temple.

22.Hirosaki Castle Chrysanthemum & Autumn Foliage Festival
こちらの写真は、2022年に弘前菊まつりの「鳳凰の像」を撮影したものです。

美しい秋の花々の上に鎮座する鳳凰は、お祭りの期間中、弘前城のいたるところで見られる花で作られた建造物の1つです。
The phoenix sits atop a beautiful display of autumn flowers, and is one of many structures made of flowers that can be found throughout the castle grounds during the festival.

23.Flower Exhibition
横浜市の山下公園で「花壇展」が開催されました。
Flower Exhibition was held at Yamashita Park in Yokohama, Japan.
2023年で60回目を迎えました！
The year 2023 marked the 60th anniversary!
ペチュニアやマーガレット、ネモフィラといった花々が横浜の春を彩っています。
Flowers such as petunias, marguerites, and nemophilas are decorating the spring in Yokohama.
この素敵な花壇は、横浜市の造園協会と農業協組合によって制作されました。
This lovely flower bed was created by the Landscape Architecture Association of Yokohama City and the Agricultural Cooperative Association.
これは「都市にもっと植物を増やして、綺麗にしよう！」という計画の一つです。
This is one of the plans to add more plants to the city and make it beautiful!

24.Queen’s Tower
この建物は、横浜にある税関です。
This building is the Customs House in Yokohama.
横浜には3つの有名な塔があり、そのうちの1つです。
It is one of the three famous towers in Yokohama.
美しく気品のある建物は「クイーンの塔」と呼ばれ、親しまれています。
The beautiful and graceful building is familiarly known as the “Queen’s Tower”.

庁舎の1階には「クイーンのひろば」と呼ばれる税関資料室があります。
On the first floor of the government building, there is a customs reference room called “Queen’s Plaza”.
入場は無料で、横浜税関の歴史と仕事が紹介されています。
Admission is free, and the history and work of Yokohama Customs are introduced here.
そして、実はこの税関には食堂があるんです。
And actually, there is a cafeteria in this customs office.

日替わり定食やラーメンも美味しいですが、特にカレーがオススメです！
The daily set meals and ramen are delicious, but we especially recommend the curry!
